Jaleel White

He is awful in this. Trying to play a tough detective isn't his forte.

His character is a lot more cynical and angry in this movie. I wonder if it's because of the previous movie (or trial). But there is the same old being a little over dramatizing of everything. Showing disbelief concerning a large bail amount (considering it's a murder charge) and the execution of a search warrant doesn't make sense since she is a lawyer. The good thing is there is a good solid supporting cast.

To me, he's okay considering that it's a Lifetime movie. He was in the prequel, too, but I can't rememeber how he did. It's been a few years.

Bones and all. He ate the whole thing, bones and all.

Speaking of supporting cast, Jen Lilley, the redhead/blonde lawyer is great in everything she's in. She's the reason I'm even watching.

reply

Her and Molly Burnett are my reasons for seeing it.

You're using the word 'prequel' wrong. A prequel is something that adds supporting events before the original content. Like with Star Wars, episodes 1, 2, and 3 are prequels because episodes 4, 5, and 6 had already been made and released.

In this instance, this movie (Mommy, I Didn't Do It (2017)) is a sequel to The Wrong Woman (2013), meaning that the other movie was released first, and this is continues events that happen after the original.

I generally avoid these crappy Lifetime movies but I've always been a huge fan of Danica... and this movie would actually be quite watchable if it weren't for the ludicrous performance by White.

URKEL was a DICKtective.she should have never answered him after his rat-a-tat questioning.then he disappears until the very end.i guess he has to take what ever work he can.

reply

I get he was pissed because of their previous history and was going to be a little over the top. But this was just over the top in a totally annoying and horribly acted way. I just wanted to tell him "go eff yourself Urkel!

reply

Bad acting and over acting at its worst, every time he opens his mouth I cringe, terrible!

The whole movie is a mess. Erkel didn't help. The script was so stupid.
