Example that going Rated R won't make a movie better

So, after seeing the movie, it was entertaining, but just too many moments that just were way over the top and honestly, not needed. Why show us a enemy getting shot and see his dick flopping when he falls back, the over the top violence also just felt completely out of place. a DC movie is no real place for watching someone's head fall apart slowly after it got sliced with a boomerang, or a few seconds watching the shark dude just eating a guy's head. There was so much more that the movie could go without like the cheesy writing all over the screen at certain moment. It's not that i can't stand gore and violence, i love movies that have that but it has to be executed better, The Punisher show was a good example how it worked. I feel they added the gore and over the top violence to ride the coat tail of series like Invincible. When i was half way through the movie i just kinda zoned out and just wanted it to end already. At least i still had Margot Robbie to look at.
