way too much exposition, forced connectivity and fan service

Ive always loved the mcu for its feeling of natural connectivity. But that exposition bomb by mysterio midway through was too much and just bad...

that's without even getting into the fact that alternative universe mysterio was far more interesting than some disgruntled stark employees... He still couldd of ben bad, but just had it that he was going to sacrifice this earth to save his own dimensions...

that's without even getting into how the whole drone illusions kind of don't make sense. or his motivation. he already clearly has drones to make them.. but wants to get control of Starks program so he can.... have even more and make an even bigger illusion.... umm what?! But its actually so you can be the real hero! even though your crappy drone army couldn't stop most of the threats the avengers faced.. so umm what?!?!

The whole Mysterio drone plot was bizarre and insanely overcomplicated, at best.

This movie just felt awkward the whole way through. It opens with Peter suddenly being head over heels in love with MJ, who he barely spoke to in the previous movie, with zero explanation.

And the ridiculously stupid relationship his chubby friend gets into, followed by showing how close he and this girl are getting, and then in the end "Oh we broke up"... ummm...ok?

I dont hate these movies, but they are strange and frustrating to watch. They keep giving Peter a new suit and then it's taken away. He gets some cool Stark glasses and gives them away. In this film hes running around in what appears to be a ski mask with a SWAT uniform.

On top of that, hes constantly trying to avoid being Spiderman in this movie. Yes. That's what we want to see in Spiderman movies; Peter just hanging out with his annoying friends, moping around , and not doing Spiderman stuff.

And a smaller complaint, but watching him take his mask off repeatedly in public for no reason whatsoever was annoying to me.
