I'd say this was the WORST part for me

Spiderman does a local fundraiser and thinks that he can reveal his face because he is backstage in a kitchen or something. Nobody would ever walk in would they?

Plus I noticed a video camera on the roof, so if anyone bothered to be monitoring or to reveal the footage, he would have been sprung. It was incredibly careless of Spiderman. Also when he removes his mask on the ledge. Anyone with a camera could have revealed who he was.

I feel like the movie successfully took care of that problem. What you are alluding to is that it is next to impossible for him to keep his identity secret in this day and age of cameras being everywhere. This is why the movie chose to reveal his identity. Kinda like how newspapers are becoming obsolete. It doesn't fit in the modern world, so the Daily Bugle is now a conspiratorial website.

Good thing it's a moot point now that the cat is out of the bag
