Yes, in the final scene of the film he appears and drops a massive bombshell. It's hands down the most meaningful and gripping mid-credits scene in an MCU film to date.
I also liked how it echoed "Iron Man," where the franchise began, i.e., a game-changing exposure of a traditionally secret identity and the (re)emergence of Nick Fury as the head of a heretofore secret agency (this one potentially cosmic?)
For a moment I wondered how Peter would protect himself and his loved ones, but then I realized that he now has Stark's resources as his disposal. Like it or not, this should be the end of the "friendly neighborhood" version of Spider-Man.
Yes, and I applauded that appearance alone! It made my day! To me, it's not a Spider-Man movie unless JJJ is in it, and now we finally have a FOURTH appearance for him in a Spidey movie! (correct me if I'm wrong)
