Awesome and Amazingly Advantegous Alliteration

Peter Parker here to Pick up a Passport Please.

Made me mirthfully merry.

Lots of great visuals in this trailer especially Mysterio's costuming as well as the what appears to be mis-direction. Well done!

Concur. One thing I really like about this trailer is the way it shows a lot and yet it doesn’t spoil anything — Aunt May accepting Peter as Spider-Man and the effects of the snap *possibly* being reversed notwithstanding. It leaves more questions than answers. And I’m sensing some heavy misdirection, too.

A pretty awesome trailer overall and Mysterio is super legit.

Speaking of sensing....

Why didn't Peter's spidey sense go off with Fury in the room unbeknownst to his eyes? I get it that Nick wasn't a real threat to Peter but wouldn't your normal 'senses' go off in that situation?

That is an issue I’ve seen get brought up quite a bit since the trailer came out. It’s been strongly argued that Peter’s spider sense only goes off if in fact he himself is in danger. Therefore, seeing as how Fury posed no threat to Peter, then there would be no reason for his spider sense to trigger him.

At the same time, there have been complaints that this is simply the MCU “toying” with his abilities and that that’s not how they’re supposed to completely work. For instance, Aunt May walked in on Peter at the end of Homecoming? His Spider Sense should’ve warned him according to many. Then again, the way Peter’s spider sense works has been inconsistent even in the comics, so either the MCU is doing its own thing when it comes to Peter’s spidey sense, or they’re taking their time to “show” them in all their glory.

That being said, why didn’t his normal senses go off? I’m guessing Fury is... just that good. :) He’s no stranger to sneaking into a room undetected.
