It just seems to be too much of a coincidence that there's an ice skating movie coming out at the same an ice skating anime is making such a huge success. Not only that, but the name and the plot and also the age of the main character (really?) are the same.

shareThis entire thing is just a huge insult on kubo senseis work and the franchise that is yuri on ice. Kubo worked on this project for 5 years, with a love and passion for it, yet these sleazy scums that are the employees of hallmark, decide to take a wonderful piece of art forming a turning point in the lgbt community with their exposure in media, and water it down to some typical mushy hetero romance story. I don't think they have any idea what made yoi so popular, and even if they did, they would not have the talent nor time to pull it off.
