While I don't think the Academy is quite tone deaf enough to award Best Picture to The Post, I have $10 riding on Streep for Best Actress (over Frances McDormand who totally deserves to win) JUST because they know she will go up and give some kind of political and/or anti-Trump embarrassing rant.

reply

Well, you were wrong. McDormand won the Oscar and SHE went up and gave a political speech.

reply

Yuck. Whenever I’m confused about Hollywood sensibilities, I think about this beavis and butthead quote: “That's the whole point of college music, to like, make the suburbs look bad”.

reply

let me guess. you don't like her politics.

the next time james woods wins an oscar, he can describe trump's colon for the world.

I love watching leftists get their little feelings hurt when you attack their moronic idols. Tell me more, sweetie. =)

You know I do princess.

These people would support baby seal clubbing if the powers that be told them too.

reply

They are leftist drones. The things they have been commanded to support have been growing more and more deranged as time goes on. Hormone therapy for children to alter their gender? Check. Open racism against white people? Check. Supporting the growth of Islam in the West? Check. Antifa physically assaulting people not on the left? Check. And the list goes on. If you consider yourself part of the left these days, you are participant to a party of evil psychopaths.

reply

It is crazy. And so many interesting themes for movies go unmade because they clash with the Left. How about a film about the acting elite supporting cultures that want to see them dead only for those cultures to take over and start stringing up in public?

They support the very thing they profess to hate.

She was bad in this movie. Needs to retire. The whole movie was unimmersive. All I could see was Streep and a weird looking Hanks. Not their best effort.

Plus it was saturated in fake looking digital scenery and odd lighting. They don't make movies like they used to.
