Who does the music?
Much of it sounds like the Beach Boys. Could it be?
By the way, I could never act in a movie with Rachel Boston. Every time she smiled, I would want to reach over and kiss her, and that would ruin the movie.

They're doing "California Beach" style music so we won't be sad that it was filmed in Victoria, BC and not Pasadena (save for second unit shots and stock footage). ☺
