Really bad

Dont waste your time

I'm trying to watch it now, and so far I totally agree. This is really bad, and a waste of time.

One review said "like Archer" so I was interested. I guess I see the similarity, it's fast paced dialog, and involves guns and some sort of organization fighting crime. But that's where the similarity ends. To compare this to Archer is a HUGE mistake, it's more like a bad cartoon version of NTSF:SD:SUV.

Where Archer is witty with well crafted highbrow jokes, this seems to be slam together cheap hackie jokes. Where Archer does take a huge amount of liberty with creative license with weapons (constantly surviving uninjured from explosions), at least in Archer they acknowledge how those things work. Pacific Heat doesn't even bother acknowledging how guns or explosives even work, I almost didn't make it through the opening 30 seconds of "lock and load" were they rack a shotgun (or other unrecognizable weapon) over and over for a joke? And then blow a door open while standing next to and staring right at the explosive charge?

This is to Archer what your daughters garage band is to your favorite band of all time, sure, you see the similarities, they are trying to play the same song, but ... to call them "like" one another is a huge stretch.

I'm not sure I will make it though the 1st episode. I might jump to a later episode to see if there is any improvement at all. Maybe if I read "it's like NTSF:SD:SUV" would have came in with lower expectations and laughed once or twice. But to compare it to Archer, they set themselves up for failure.

I'm not sure you know what "highbrow" means.

I love Archer, and the 1-2 obscure references they usually shoehorn into each episode... but they also had a whole SEASON of a character eating cocaine and saying "holy sh*tsnacks" at every opportunity. At least half of the comedy is sexually crude, and/or relies on expletives.

Archer is funny, and it is smart, but it is definitely lowbrow.

I think it's funny but it's no Archer.

This is probably the single worst thing NETFLIX has put out to date. It is the cheap
Chinatown Rolex that falls apart 5 minutes later copy of Archer.

I think this show is really friggin funny. I am not overly concerned with the similarities it might share with Archer.
