The music score

This is a story we’ve all seen before, (It’s a Wonderful Life, The Family Man), but a good story is a good story. My only complaint is the music score. It’s well done, but often doesn’t match the tone of the movie, particularly during the early “What’s happening to me?” scenes. Hallmark stuck with their usual plink-plink-plink sound, rather than creating something with emotion. The score does find its footing as the movie progresses, but I wish they’d given more feel to those early scenes. I know Hallmark has a winning formula, and they don’t want to rock the boat, but I don’t think their audience would mind more depth, as long as there’s a happy ending.
