iowa-snow-and no vapor coming from breaths?

What I couldn't get around was knowing Homestead Iowa which is a part of the Amana Colonies has a population a bit less than 200 people. A sweet little movie but when you're familiar with the setting....it loses something. It's claim to fame is the home of Ashton Kutchers mom and stepfather and Bill Zubers Inn and Restaurant......and Hallmark...deciduous trees in the background still green and full of leaves are a bit distracting.

Completely lost all credibility when every outdoor scene showed snow-laden trees with green leaves in Iowa in December! aargh! Also, in the last scene, the stars came out of the movie theater wearing street clothes with no jackets or gloves and rode off in an open sleigh!
This is a schmaltzy, almost unbearably stupid movie, but at least filled with attractive actors.
