Save me 2 hours and just tell me if the Dad is the serial killer
The rest of the movie is just guessing foreplay (seems like from the trailer)

The teenager characters are believably written, not in an annoying way. And Dylan McDermott puts on a really good performance

Not necessarily. It could be his uncle and the dad only had a weird fetish.

The movie shows that the father is beyond fetishes when he attempts to torture and kill that woman...the same woman who's property he tied the clove-hitch knot (to show the authorities that she was intended to be another of the "Clovehitch killers" victims.) He left his "signature".
The movie literally spells out and flat-out shows you that the father is the killer.
