Age Appropriate?

Maybe it's just me, but both main characters seemed a little old for the parts. Both actors are in their 50's and the parts seem more appropriate for 30 somethings...the grandparents would have had to be well in their 70's.

50 does seem a little old... but maybe the actors...(although older in real life)... are suppose to be playing 40-somethings. I think it was okay for Eve to be older ...because being older... she had even more regrets that she hadn't made time for love and family. That her life had been all about business. These days I don't think it's unusual for 30 yr olds to just be starting their careers and a serious relationship. So not as much time for big regrets.

The grandparents were the sister's husband's parents. So not sure how old the sister or her husband were. So not sure how old his parents would be. The sister could have been 10 years younger than Max. But yep...these tv movie characters don't always add-up correctly.

Not done watching so maybe I missed something. But I thought I just heard Eric calling the grandmother mom

It didn't really bother me, because they both could pass for early to mid-forties, which wouldn't have been unrealistic ages for them to be, provided the Dad was about 5 years older than his sister. 30's would have made more sense, but hey. What gets me is when actresses and actors don't match as far as age. Also I hate to see (usually) actresses resort to botox and collagen injections in an effort to play someone who is in their 20's or early 30's. Kristin may not be a spring chicken anymore, but she looked natural and attractive: a good match for Eric McCormick.

Eric is no spring chicken either and he is older than Kristin.
