the house

Please tell me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall them clarifying.

Was this supposed to be the same house as in the first one?

Or a different one?

Because if it's the same, it obviously looks different, but I would say that was a behind the scenes location issue more than story issue. Think how the Myers house changes throughout the Halloween movies.

Because otherwise it begs the question of why he moved. His house was still standing at the end of the first. And why would a blind man go through the trouble of an unnecessary move? He wouldn't know the new place as well, putting him at a disadvantage. And especially why bother if you're staying in the same town? Only thought there is he did it to better hide Phoenix.
