Tom Cruise, John Travolta etc

I wonder why Leah doesn't mention much about the big celebrities in Scientology. many people wonder why the heck they are it.

Miscavige secretly videotaped the auditing sessions of those two. All the dirt that's fit to print.

And Cruise was specially handled, even for a celeb. If Miscavige is the King, Cruise is the Prince.

reply

That's right. I remember that Miscaviage was really obsessed with Tom Cruise's sex life. He enjoyed talking about it with other high ranking CoS members. So creepy!

reply

someday all of this will come to light... nothing stays hidden forever....

what we do know is that according to tom devocht in 2 different interviews and in 2 different issues of the magazine VANITY FAIR,, devocht was the one who made it known that miscavige love loved to read the transcripts and the secret hidden videos of cruise's audits late at night drinking scotch with his wife shelly ( you know the one banished for 11 years now) and a few small circle of cronies...

according to devocht, who obviously knows but won't say in detail what was said... miscavige would "roll his eyes" and say outloud "geez, can you believe it?!" and that shelly would "blush" and say outloud "that's gross!"...

we can only wonder what would cause miscavige and wife to make these comments and expressions....

there are quite a number of people who know EVERYTHING about cruise from those audits.. someway, somewhere, sometime the beans are going to be spilled whether on purpose or accidentally...

of course, the biggest picture is it is UNBELIEVABLE THAT SOMEONE OF HIS FAME AND SUCCESS AND WHOSE LIFE IS REPUTATION WOULD EVEN THINK TO TELL (MUCH LESS DID AND FOR YEARS?????!!!!) ANYTHING TO ANYONE THAT COULD RUIN OR TARNISH OR EVEN DESTROY HIS LIFE AND CAREER! never mind, wouldnt' someone like him die of embarassment to do so? wouldn't and shouldn't someone of his fame and success and what not, be utterly SHOCKED AND PISSED OFF THAT THEIR "RELIGION" WAS EVEN ASKING him such personal, intimate rude questions! and writing what he said down! to keep in a file folder! for all time sake! (why??) and of course videotaping him too without his knowledge!...

i mean i'm a total nobody and i would never do such things! and the very first time, my "religion" was asking me this stuff, i would be so freaked out i would get up and run out of the building never to return!...

but yet cruise, THEE tom cruise not only thought this was normal, proper and helpful these audits, but DID and COUNTLESS TIMES tell them EVERYTHING! COME ON! IF ANYONE is that gullible, clueless, weak and pathetic or whatever, ESPECIALLY a celebrity whose entire life is reputation, it defies belief and kind of like they deserve what they get because of sheer stupidity!....

what did he think "oh, it's my religion, it's a religion, they are so nice to me and kiss my ass, they are trying to help me, they would never do anything bad to me? REALLY? REALLY?!

reply

I think specifically with Tom Cruise, he bought it hook line and sinker. He loved the positive aspect of living a good life etc.

In addition, CoS needed him. He was a perfect celebrity to have as their poster boy because he was pretty clean cut. He's a marketable person to say the least.

They showered him with gifts and privileges and he fell for it. I can't really understand why he would trust the auditing - but maybe it's like when you go to see a therapist. He thought it was private. It's hard to believe but people become brainwashed. Especially when they are worshipped, lovebombed and convinced they are doing good.

reply

He is such an intense guy can definitely see him being attracted to Scientology because its an intense religion. His first wife, Mimi Rogers actually introduced him and she left the church years ago. They definitely probably romanced him because he stayed with the church longer than the wife.

reply

It's good that Nicole and Katie got rid of his midget rat looking ass....Run , Katie , Run and take Suri!

reply

She isn't focusing on the celebrity aspect here. She wants to focus on regular people who were sucked in to being involved, and to expose the bad things that were actually witnessed or participated in these activities by formerly high ranking people in the "church". Her goal with this show is to warn people away from getting involved. The "church" uses famous people as recruitment tools because they know how ordinary people worship celebrities. So showing regular people on her show that got involved and got royally screwed over, that would be a lot more impactful than seeing a famous person go through that same thing. If it can happen to Joe Average then it can happen to me, too.

In some respects, Scientology is the ideal "religion" for show biz stars. That's because for a celebrity the God in Scientology is YOU. Everything is about YOU. Of course, mere mortals who are not famous or rich end up as underpaid, overworked staff or Sea Org slaves or, if a regular member, lose all their money to the cult.

reply

Well said.

reply

So many celebrities are in this group. They stay for the same reason so many others stay. If you read Leah's book you will see the "perks" and special treatments the celebrities get.

reply

I forgot they have mentioned Tom Cruise. One woman said I think it was her job to surround with those in the cult. Everyone from his house keepers, limo drivers and so on. They keep a special eye on him.

reply

he is surrounded by culties (on purpose of course) from his household staff, to his "handlers" even his family as his mother, sisters and brother in law are culties too..

the ONLY NON culties in his life his professional life are his lawyers, agents and p.r. people.. who obviously are all morally bankrupt shameful cowards as well because they are riding the money gravy train until it slows down or ends!.. you think ANY of them ever bring up scientology and what is going on? that it's hurting his career and reputation thus hurting their careers? uh, i don't think so!...

OH WAIT, i keep on forgetting the lawyers, agent and p.r. people don't know ANYTHING ABOUT SCIENTOLOGY EITHER RIGHT? DON'T KNOW ANYTHING THAT IS GOING ON IN IT? uh huh...

Well, Leah's relationship with Tom Cruise is....a sensitive subject. And she covered it in the first episode. Likewise my opinion of Cruise is just as complicated. Ever since The Outsiders I've been a lifelong fan of his films in spite of how the guy's currently ensconced in whackadoo and it's my sincerest hope that he'll realize he's being played as Miscavige's dancing monkey and quit the church and go public with everything they have on him. I think losing his celebrity crown jewel would be the ultimate humiliation for DM.

And besides, even the biggest Cruise haters on this board would have to admit that they would totally want to see the tell-all expose that would soon follow Tom's hypothetical departure.

Cruise has been steeping in Scientology for years and years, and I would have no interest in reading any "tell-all" by him. I would assume he'd lie about most everything to make himself look good. I don't trust a word that comes out of his mouth. Let's face it, IMO, Cruise has done maybe two or three acting jobs in his entire career that wasn't just Tom Cruise playing Tom Cruise. He's not a very good actor or just keeps taking whatever is thrown at him to get a payday so he can funnel more money into Scientology. For that reason alone, I haven't watched anything involving Tom Cruise for years. I'm not in the habit of helping to support an abusive, money-grabbing cult.

Exactly. I don't believe for one second that he is unaware of what is happening to these people. There have been reports that people (including Leah) have seen him treating the "lesser sci's" like they were slaves. As far as he and Travolta are concerned, I have written them off. He will never ever leave.

He would need some kind of motive to break from the church. It sounds like they treat him like a king and isolate him from anything bad. It's not like he seems unhappy with the group or anything.

Sure. That would probably be the explosion that destroys the church. Leah's departure has done significant damage to the church and Tom leaving would just break them completely. But, that's why they guard him so closely.
