What happens after they're done, after they've reached the highest level on the bridge? Can they stop going to "church" every day? Do they leave?

They come up with higher levels or restructure other levels for you to retake. I don't think you ever get finished.

One thing mentioned in an ep was how when people reach the highest level they would counsel their family members not to do it. It wasn't worth the cost or the time spent and they don't get all the answers they're promised. Then the church turns on them.

I think only a tiny % get to OT VIII. It is REALLY expensive to get all the way up the bridge like that...and there are all kinds of "side" courses they can sell you along the way.

Even after achieving $cientology near-perfection, a parishioner must come in for constant tune-ups of his/her thetan. Otherwise, it's possible to slip from that lofty OT-VII state. ;)

They interviewed an older short haired blonde woman. She was OT 8, highest level. She said they supposedly found new information and she had to redo a bunch of it at a huge expense. That's when she went on the ship and decided when it was back in port she was done. You can only do the high level on the boat at sea because it is so secret

I looked at one of their pamphlets that had many different courses along with the associated cost...oops, sorry...I meant "donation request amount" (which btw, all were in the thousands of dollars!!!), and saw many of the courses offered "retraining" courses. That made me immediately suspect that no matter how high you get on the Bridge I'm sure everyone gets told (or maybe even tested!) that they need to take refresher courses for previous training or auditing or whatever so that literally they can prolong the whole experience and squeeze just about every dollar out of you that they think they can get.

What happens when you have the latest I-Phone.....is Apple done wanting your money?

Scientology is a business too.
