Tucker is a liar. He's using short, deceptively edited clips to muddy the waters of what happened on Jan. 6.
He is a threat to democracy.

These people duped by Tucker's segment are morons or just trolling for the sake of it. As if we all didn't see what happened live with our own eyes. Of course there were lulls amidst the chaos.

Could you give us the exact quote and link, please? Also, explain how any of that changes the video we saw Monday and Tuesday night.

I didn't watch Tuckers picks, all I watched was J6 live on J6 and it was brutal.
This one came close to having proper context: "Carlson said he had no doubt there was fraud in the 2020 election, but that Trump and his lawyers had so discredited their case — and media figures like himself — 'that it's infuriating. Absolutely enrages me.'"
Again, quotes with context seem to change the meaning of what Dems are claiming about these texts. Without proper context you can say Carlson claimed Trump lost the election, but here it's saying he said there was fraud. If there was fraud, there's no way to prove who legitimately won. A few cherry-picked words and a writer's conclusion, as in that story, is what's called "spin."
Since you saw J6 live, did you see the blonde jumping up and down and saying to the guy filming for CNN, "You said we could get in and WE DID IT!"? She was so excited! How did they know there was going to be a breach of the Capitol? If they knew, why didn't Nancy Pelosi or the Capitol police know? Why weren't the Capitol police prepared? Why is Tucker the only one who seems interested in those answers?
At least the Dems and their Praetorian Guard Press dropped the Brian Sicknick story since Carlson showed them proof he wasn't bludgeoned to death. 🙄
Didn't he say to his colleagues that Biden won fair and square, basically? But on camera he lies to his audience? Correct me if I'm wrong.

And again, that doesn’t change the content of the video we saw. Assuming the people posting this irrelevance did watch.
I don't watch manipulated propaganda meant to distract from a lawsuit involving their place of work and the lies they propagate.
shareI love how the folks who talk about "manipulated propaganda" had no problem with the Dems only playing the same small handful of clips over and over. And no one's denying that Officer Sicknick wasn't killed that day anymore. Seeing his ashes "lying in state" reminded me that he was jet-propelled to a crematorium so he couldn't be autopsied. They wanted to preserve that narrative.
Interesting, too, to see Chewbacca Man given a tour through the Capitol by Nancy Pelosi's police. He was treated as if he were an honored guest.
Why didn't they ever think that the GOP might get hold of the House and their lies would be exposed? Maybe for the same reason that the people now so outraged never thought anything was up when there were only those few little clips played over and over.
Oh -- and if the DOJ can keep people in the DC Gulag for years without bail in violation of their Constitutional rights, simply because the DC Circuit is corrupt to the core, know that they can do the same to you when there's a change in regime and judges.
The amazing part for me is the progressive outrage that Carlson is publishing the videos. Why is it that I can’t be trusted to see and discern whatever the government collected during the event? If it’s an unfairly cherry-picked set of videos, I am capable of weighing that issue for myself. I don’t need someone from the government or some agenda-driven media organization to shield me from information however complete or fractional it’s been assembled
