This show is so over the top
It's ridiculous.
Every scene just tries to top the last scene in sheer ridiculousness.
Some would say the same thing about "Weeds" or even "Breaking Bad."
Especially in the later seasons. Don't get me wrong, I'm not directly comparing this show to critically acclaimed award winning series.
HOWEVER, I would say a single mom turned housewife dealing drugs eventually marrying into the mob maaaayyyy also be described as "over the top" 3rd season of Weeds anyone?
This show does, at the very least, start a discussion and social commentary on assisted suicide. They had to throw in the cop angle. I'm a little wary about the daughter and her friend but willing to stick with it to see where it goes.
Remember, only two episodes have aired.
It's all in the acting....and so far it hasn't been too bad. Sheer ridiculousness is going a bit far.
