why on fcking earth would you mix a documentary with a bid budget show like this. they're already spending so much on set and costumes. it makes no sense for them to not just make it a drama. the historians ruin this show so fcking bad. they could've had another rome or spartacus. the female casting is hot as fck. why netflix. whyyyyyyyy would you do this?
shareBecause some people like history, or at least recognise its importance. The show seemed a great way of bringing it alive and making it interesting.
shareI enjoy history and I would agree if they were in fact teaching us about history but this movie has so many historical mistakes that making people think they are actually learning something is just wrong. Call it what it is a historical fantasy and don't try to lend false credibility to it.

shareI quite enjoyed the format. There's tons of straight up historical Roman Documentaries out there anyways so it's nice to see something done a little different.
