It's one of Hallmark's weaknesses. They can't help hooking up unattractive women with attractive men.

I'm a huge fan of Dylan Neal an anything he does, but, I've never liked Anne Heche as an actress and they just didn't suit each other
shareDitto. I thought she did a good job with that character, but absolutely zero chemistry between the two.
shareWell, happen to think they did pretty well here. Heche brought some pretty fun laughs to this movie like she did in One Christmas Eve, and Neal was obviously the big fun - his Gourmet Detective with Brooke Burns reminded me a heck of a lot of Castle and Beckett in Castle. As for chemistry... well, the combustible kind, more like. Sparks can also fly when swords clash... LOL
shareI adore Castle and Beckett, but just because people argue when the script calls for it, doesn't mean they have sparks. The actors and their characters were fine - the characters as a couple just didn't work. Nowhere near Fillion's and Katic's chemistry. That's lightning in a bottle.
