First 12 minotes and I have issues

Can they really fire her or her producer for not liking Christmas? Isn't there personal and religious freedom. I get the image thing but they'd have a case for wrongful termination wouldn't they?

reply

They didn't threaten to fire Jack. They threatened not to renew his contract, which is perfectly legal.

Why does Lori look like Bailey Madison in the Northpole movies? I don't remember her ears looking like elf ears before.
I seriously keep waiting for Santa to come get her.

reply

Gotcha

reply

Depends on her contract. It could have an image clause or acceptable content clause. Also depends on the state, so have right to work laws others have 'fire you for whatever reason including your earrings'.

reply

They wouldnt have been firing her over what she believes, but the negative impact her statements had on their ratings. She is free to say whatever she wants, but if her words have the potential to negatively affect their ratings, they have grounds to terminate her employment. Image clauses are standard these days. If the ratings plummet, her show gets canceled and she's out of a job.

His contract was coming up for renewal the next month.

reply

You're right. It's not a matter of belief. Imagine if someone on the Macy's Parade said "I don't really like turkey or all that fuss people make for Thanksgiving dinner." It's an expression they wouldn't want representing them and wouldn't bring the person back the next time.

reply

Mine actually have to do with the very first minute.

WHY does she get up at 4 AM for a 9 o'clock show?
Just doesn't make sense.

WHY is there a traffic report at 4 AM? Again, doesn't make sense.

reply

There's no idea what the traffic is like here in LA. In any case all morning talk show people constantly mention how early they get up 2 prepare the show and to prepare themselves to appear on TV.

reply

I meant to write that you can't imagine what LA traffic is like.
