This was a great short about Hana + Joon Seung

I watched the first episode of "Mars" on the NatGeo app,which was great, but it seemed a lot like things I had seen before. I hope the next 5 episodes flesh things out more.

I then watched this show (a short, connected to the mini-series) called "Before Mars" about Hana and Joon Seung, as teens having just moved with their Army working single mother Lily. It was amazing that finding a HAM radio aided the two, who were going in different directions - Joon wanting to fit in with the locals and Hana being the "weird" one. They both learned that home isn't a place, but something much different. It had them both take risks, alone and for each other, that eventually lead Hana to become an astronaut and Joon to be involved with mission control.

Yah I found it interesting too, especially the foreshadowing where Hanna is alone on the rainy mountain top and the only connection she has to Joon is the voice on the radio. I was wondering tho where Joon got her radio 😏. Did she actually go back to that thrift store where her "friends" got caught shoplifting?? She must be cray!
