As if you don’t know exactly what you’re getting when you watch a movie like this? If you don’t like generally mindless action films what the hell are you doing watching the third installment of this series? I thoroughly enjoyed it. Though Danny Huston showing up within 5 mins was a dead giveaway that he was the villain - as he is literally always the villain.
All in all, 4/5 stars for me. Nick Nolte is in it and I rather enjoy Gerard Butler playing a badass.

It's an enjoyable action film. Either you like this kind of movie or you don't. If you do, it should scratch your action movie itch. If you don't, then this film isn't going to do anything to change your mind.
I love this series because it's a gritty, hard-R action series that flamboyantly embraces political incorrectness and doesn't mind throwing in a healthy dose of pro-American patriotism. We need more films like that.
Also, agreed that it was obvious quickly that Danny Huston was the villain, and it became apparent very quickly that the VP was the man behind the voice. That part wasn't done especially well but it was still a good film.
