Wouldn't "God Has Fallen" be a better title for this movie now?

You know, with Morgan Freeman being god in a lot of movies.

I think "Angel" is Mike Banning's Service call sign.

Maybe, I remember the news story when Mike was being transported said something along the line of "The president's guardian angel has fallen."

Yep. I see the title as "Guardian Angel Has Fallen." Doesn't really sound that great, so it was best to shorten it to "Angel Has Fallen." Guardian is kind of there in parentheses, meaning it's invisible.

I was hoping for a crossover with Gods Of Egypt or a tie-in with Geostorm. Any other bad Gerard Butler movie.

I get your joke. I interpreted 'angel' as codename for president. They all get code names. Clinton was Eagle.
