That was fairly good looking for a microbudget. I can't blame the BBC for not investing much money into animating something they already made, just so people can SEE something along with the surviving audio. For the effort of the animators and the executives at the BBC who authorized this, I thank them.
Hopefully we will see more of these for Doctor Who in the future.
They could have handed it to fans and said, "Sign these legal consent forms and then go animate this!" and the results would have been far better, entirely for free.
I've seen fan animators do some amazing stuff lately. Heck, I've seen better from Newgrounds in 1999. This is bare-bones vectoring. Even I could manage it, and I admittedly suck so much I'm too ashamed to post anything I fiddled with before giving up in despair.
