is that Amy and Adam are going more 'old school' with their investigation techniques. Just a simple recorder and a camera...and investigating actual homes with families instead of lame tourist attractions/historical sites that all the other shows seem to do.

Out of all the paranormal shows that are televised... I will have to say that I am loving this one over the others so far.
Helping people who have an entity or entities in their homes is the best concept.
Amy and Adam have a caring quality which is comforting for the clients.
I predict this show will be successful.
I saw an episode of Kindred Spirits and I really like it a lot. My favorite of any paranormal show I've seen. The show has the perfect balance of genuine friendship, homeowner testimony, tech gadgetry, historical research, and subjective impressions. I hope they don't fake evidence like other paranormal shows, I much prefer a straightforward documentary-type format than one that is over-the-top or contrived.
shareI completely agree with you. They aren't too fancy with their equipment and they really seem to enjoy it. And I also like that they don't go in to these houses with the intent to debunk everything. I think the fact that they spend time researching the house/land/area plus spend more time at the house investigating they get a lot more out of it.

I'm watching the reruns now and I'm enjoying it, its like the first few years of Ghost Hunters - simple and honest. I quit watching Ghost Hunters when they just turned into another TV reality show.

Ya, well, it makes it easier for them to con people. I can't believe people actually buy i,to this. We were literally laughing through the whole episode we watched. Literally zero evidence of anything, and the acting is cringeworthy.
