I'll admit that Obama was more of the status quo then he was progression and while that is disturbing
It is even more disturbing to see people try to normalize Donald Trump rhetoric and minimalize his dangerous administration

If you are concerned about global warming, Criminal Justice Reform, women's rights to their body and health-care you have ever right to be concerned

On an individual level I'm going to be fine but my concern is for the community that I love the people that I care for and the justice and equality that we have worked so long for

Well for starters it was only 40 years ago that we were allowed to go to the same school as you
My mother (not Grand mom, Mother) what to segregated schools had to separate drinking fountains

I have family members who were victims of the lopsided criminal justice system

Friends who benefited from the ACA
Friends who went back to school using grants and government assistance

Co-workers who returned to the work force because of universal Pre-K and programs like it
