The elder (spoilers)

Goddamn.. That was the heartbreak of the movie...
Setting - Nothing is above the high table.. And the elder sits on top of it.. And then when you get to the elder you realise NYC (and the world, I guess) is being ruled from the deserts of Morocco by a man who they show as a tough negotiator for all of 5-7 mins..
Setting up such a world has to be done over a long period of time and masterminded over tumultuous details...
They made a hash of the whole hype and now have major repairs to do in Part 4.... Even the manager and Charon commanded better screen presence than the elder!
What do you think??

maybe hes just a proxy or may not be the real person in charge

Yeah he was weak. It was a chance to have a really impressive cameo but it’s just another towel-head in a tent with some camels.

I’d like to have seen something as revelatory as Neo meeting The Architect but let’s face it, the John Wick films are dumb as hell, directed by a stunt coordinator, not sophisticated, well-read artists like the Wachowskis.

It just shows how you cannot have stupid people write smart people.
