Clearly you have no clue what SJW and political correctness means...

reply

Clearly you don't. He thinks it is not politically correct to have Indians or Blacks in London wearing gentleman's outfits. There for he thinks he is standing up for that "truth" as some kind of social justice despite being wrong. So clearly we have another sensitive little boy on the board.

reply

No, he said it's not "historically" correct. Politically correct is "a term used to describe language, policies, or measures that are intended to avoid offense or disadvantage to members of particular groups in society." So not at all what he's arguing. And instead of fighting for "social justice" (promoting socially progressive ideas), he seems to be advocating "historical justice". Also, Othello is a bad example since he's a fictional character.

Yes, you're a sensitive and little boy indeed...

reply

It seems like you're offended. And because it is not "historically correct" (yet it is - there were black nobelmen dating back to Shakespeare's time and Indians of British birth at the time) you've taken offense and believe the disadvantage is to the snowflakes in our society that believe everything should be white bread all the time, therefor politically correct. It offends your fragile sensitivities. How much was Indiana Jones historically accurate? So yes indeed, you're the other sensitive little boy on the board. Run along and comment on the transformers board.

Indiana Jones is a fictional character.

In 1991 the census of Great Britain was 98.3% white. In 2011 with forced immigrationdue to the EU that number has dropped to about 87%.

Yes there would have been black people living in London (predominantly servants) in the 1800's. By the 18th Century, it is thought as many as 20,000 black servants lived in London (less than 0.3% of the population). That is not a lot and certainly not to the degree that Hollywood likes to make out. There were some with money but you could count them on one hand.

Remember this is England not America. England has and is a white european country.

So if you are gonna be historically accurate then yes you should show what it was like at the time not what Hollywood wants you to believe it was like. Movies and shows are rewriting history to push a particular narative. The Witcher has the same problem and that is Poland where you could probably count non whites on one hand in medieval Poland.

Offended by what exactly? You're the one who posted a childish rant directed at the OP (which you conveniently have deleted now). I did no such thing, I simply pointed out you used the terms mentioned by the OP in an incorrect manner.

You are so wrong in so many ways. SJW or politically correctness don't mean what you think they mean. I'm not offended or sensitive in the least. I'm not a boy or even a male. And lastly, I'm absolutely not a Transformers fan. Now you run along and go back to school, because you clearly still have a lot of learning and growing up to do...
