Are we supposed to believe some of these people...

Are we supposed to believe some of these people are dancers?

The weight on most of them....

Did you read some of the actors profiles?
Lead guy was a soloist for a ballet company and lead actress had 13 years of dance experience before she started acting

reply

Not talking about the leads, mostly the extras.

reply

Sophia Lucia (Sadie) is a ballerina, too. I thought they were all very believable.

reply

I know what you mean. The understudy for the Sugar Plum Fairy, who ended up hauled out in an ambulance...when she first appeared, my wife said, "Is she a dancer or a linebacker for the Eagles?" :)

reply

Yeah I actually thought the same thing about the understudy.

reply

Well the lead took ballet for 13 years. But she started at 5 35 years ago. Why couldn't they get someone like Misty Copeland. Oh that's right, it would kill Hallmark to have a non white in one of their movies. This was horrible.

reply

She got into acting because of an injury. And Amy is amazing. Why would Hallmark hire a dancer simply because of her race?

reply

They don't hire because someone is white but they don't seem to cast leads that are minorities.
