Just watched the 3rd and final part of this excellent series.
It was very well done and I have to say a special congrats to Michael Compton who played Peter Manuel. Great performance

Yes, they got the period just right, clothes, hair, locations all 1950's. And with only three episodes the story line wasn't dragged out. Excellent drama.

Yes I thought the period detail was pretty good too. Not sure if the private soldier at the dances would have been wearing number two dress with a Sam Browne - didn't privates and NCOs at that time wear battledress all the time even off duty?

There's a scene early on when the bus is on the estate. The lamp posts are metal with modern lights on top of them. A minor point but it was not in keeping with the rest of the 50's period appearance.
