It's not questionable. It's very obvious corporate greed. Nothing more.
shareAt least it’s *mostly* the-always-negative-bunch on the internet saying this about these particular (and generally speaking) well-liked remakes. Sure I understand why all these remakes are being unwelcomed by some, but it’s not like remakes haven’t been a thing since the silent era. They’ve never gone out of fashion.
Anyhow, corporate greed that results in worthwhile entertainment that can also be considered fine art? (Yeah, those committed to criticizing CGI could sure do better.) Neat.
