I know it ain't Buds, Sere, jump school, UDT...but
What it did show was the reason why a soldier fights.

The reason is the guy next to you you cry and lose brothers with, joke and fight with, that bond is strong as steel and THATS what it's about and that's it.
This show brought people together under duress and in 11 days they were brothers...imagine a deployment for long periods of time.
Thanks for showing the people a sliver of brotherhood and how deep it can be.

I agree but some do come it with the simple things motivating them but it is having a team put under stressful circumstances that can make it stronger or to take another phrase that history channel might like, a team forged by fire that makes it stronger.
