Scripted conversations are not so great

I think one thing about this which is not so good is the scripted, acted conversations between the three. I know Mythbusters had some of this too, but it also had a lot of spontaneous "as it happens" shooting which in my opinion is way more enjoyable. The narrated documentary feel of White Rabbit is still interesting in places if the subject is interesting, but it's not as entertaining. I'm only up to ep2 so maybe this is not indicative of the whole series.
