Are most dying kids..........

that interested in sex ?? very weird part of the show - disturbing to some extent.

That whole scene was odd

Well, her entire life she has been in the prison of her room. She's never interacted with anyone outside her family save for some doctors and nurses. I imagine being already post-pubescent she has the same urges and desires as anyone, just no outlet for them.

But I still don't understand why she couldn't masturbate on her own - she has functioning arms.

I guess dying, being adolescent and living in the home of a oppressive fundamentalist makes the obsession even greater.
She's trapped by body and circumstance beyond her control and wants to experience what she knows she never can.
She's trying to live vicariously through her sister.
And it's a great escape from that witch of a mother.
That's the way I see it, anyway.

Well I just watched tonight episode..where Cora remembers everything. I just dont know how to process this, lol.. Cora was way too meek (until the end) and the sister sure got over her illness for this night out (until the end) so I need some feedback from all you people who watched tonight.

reply

this is Episode 7 ??

reply

yes...last episode is next week.

reply

What's your question, though? I mean, Cora was always meek.

But I remembered how Frankie Belmont's friend from the beach said he looked like he guided her hand to stab him, so now that makes sense. He's been living with the guilt.

reply

I didnt have a specific question...just asked what everyones feedback was..

reply

Eh, the show is okay, I suppose, but not as great as I thought it would be based on the first episode.

This is no The Night Of.

reply

I was thinking the same thing

reply

I think she knew how she wanted that night to end. The things she was saying to Cora when she first found her and Frankie in that house. Cora just wanted to get her back home, because she knew there was nothing nice waiting for her if their parents found out. Dude was right about Phoebe, she was like a vampire, she played on Cora's guilt to control her. But in this episode she was finally telling Cora to let her go.

reply

I mean, I get it, but it's in the "territory" of the series - The Sinner...

I thought it was weird how this guy has the hots for a young girl with an illness and wants to hook up with her on a couch in a basement with her sister close by and 2 other dudes in the room.

reply

so much for privacy

reply

Is he the same guy Cora killed on the beach? They look alike but not sure with the beard and all.

reply

yes the guy having sex with Phoebe is the guy Cora stabbed to death

reply

Thank you! Fast response!

reply

That's because they were all high.

reply

Its a party with drugs scene. Orgies happen all the time in real life in these type of circumstances.

Weird for sure you have two sisters but I'm sure it happens.

reply

No inhibitions when people are on drugs. I am not sure why this even needed to be explained to the commenter above.

reply

Well she was on stimulants until her body couldn't take it anymore.
