Why isn't Smolensk listed on IMDb Bottom 100 yet http://www.imdb.com/chart/bottom ? It should be "winning" the list. It is a "theatrical feature", isn't it? (obviously not a documentary). And it received ratings from over 4000 users as for now.
I guess most voters from both sides register account at September 2016 (too many one-vote accounts, not enough normal ones as a result?). We have good Wolyn http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6068960/, but less voters than in this crap.
Heh, people as always prefer to bring attention to some bad stuff than to some good stuff ==' Is it some kind of self-hate or what? It's definitely a kind of stupidity.
(I'm perfectly aware that this is the result of a concrete trolling action - "unfortunately" it didn't work).
The "action" worked perfectly, when IMDB rating is considered ;) I, for one, was not paid for my vote and comment by anyone, nor was I inspired by any organized hate action - only I was outraged by the "Smolensk lie" told by PiS politicians and their few artist believers. And I'm aware of the sad fact, that more people would believe lies, when they see a film, treating them as a truth. Luckily, after a short and ignominious box office career "Smolensk" fall out of cinemas. Now the public TV would have to buy it for some millions, to compensate for a financial flop.
"The "action" worked perfectly, when IMDB rating is considered ;)" I don't deny it~ But the mass action on Filmweb would be more noticeable :>
"I, for one, was not paid for my vote and comment by anyone, nor was I inspired by any organized hate action - only I was outraged by the "Smolensk lie" told by PiS politicians and their few artist believers" I haven't claimed that people, who rated this movie on "1", had voted against their hearts as well ;)
For that, they count the votes from they call "regular users". And they will not disclose what exactly constitutes "regular" user. It's in the FAQ. "To maintain the effectiveness of the top 250 list, we deliberately do not disclose the criteria used for a person to be counted as a regular voter." (Must be the same for the bottom 100).
I heard that also not that it bothers me because I use voting for personal reference. Because I watch so many films I use voting as a index to keep a check on the ones I've seen rather than compile a list. Whether imdb uses it or not is neither here or there for my needs.
