Was that supposed to be the Evil Dead cabin?

In episode 3 they go out to a remote cabin that bears more than a passing resemblance to the one from Evil Dead.

I assume this was done intentionally as a wink to the fans, rather than just being a coincidence?

I think I read on Howard Overman's Twitter that he used the cabin as a homage to other horror films
