Very confused about release. LA IMAX?

I do not understand what is going on with the release. I'm in the biggest market on earth and not one showing of VoT anywhere near Los Angeles! WTF? The IMAX site has like 5 theaters listed over the next month and they are in strange places for a film like this. WhoTF is going to see this in Sacramento, for example? lol

But it is playing in Los Angeles. It's been playing at the California Science Center since Friday and will keep playing there until mid-November (my partner and I both saw it Monday afternoon and were both in complete awe the whole time). The best part about it is they're running the movie on an actual 15/70mm IMAX print.
