That bad?

I´m kind of new to AU shows, this one sounded nice in paper, but 5,8 on a tv show is way above the "bad" level. is this rating right ?

I think this show is a 6. It's definitely not an interesting premise for a show nowadays. The show needs more than an alcoholic womanizing doctor who hits on his brother's wife.

the only "new" show im on right now is 800 words, i was kind of hyped for this :/ 6 is not enough for me wheb it comes to tv shows i guess. especially when i see just to many of them and need extra time slots.
thank you!

I'v seen the ads for this show.

The lead actor smirks a lot.

The lead actress is excessively 'sassy' and the secondary actors also do a lot of smirking.

so, besides the cliche story, annoying actors :p

I've enjoyed it so far, but I'd definitely rate it below 800 Words.

yep I agree. not much aussie drama is made so will stick with it.

I watched one episode pretty much as a joke, and because I wanted to have a look at Nicole de Silva outside her Wentworth role. By the third one I've started to think it's actually not too bad, for an Aussie show. I wouldn't have believed it, but I'm actually going to keep watching.

what would you compare this show with?

I started watching to see Nic DiSilva in something different. I've watched all eps to date and sincerely enjoy the show. The lead is good. He carries the show well and the rest of the cast are a charming and funny bunch. In fact the only character I could do without is DiSilva's. Her acting is fine, but her character is annoying, unlikeable and seems surplus and out of sync with the rest of the cast/story. Apparently she was in love with the lead, Hugh, years back but after he left her she married his little brother. Now that Hugh's returned home she looks for any excuse to provoke exchanges between them. Good thing it's a comedy else I'd hate her even more.

It started off ok for an Aussie show but it started taking itself seriously and the most recent season was terrible. I stopped watching it.
