What we know :

- This new Godzilla film will come this year, for the first time as an animation.

- It's produced by Polygon Pictures, a studio specializing in CG animation.

- Two directors : Kobun Shizuno ("Detective Conan" films and "Fist of the North Star" films) and Hiroyuki *beep* (Knights of Sidonia).

- The story concept and screenplay are created by Gen Urobuchi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero,Psycho-Pass).

- And the teaser picture seems to indicate a futuristic universe.

Maybe I forgot something, but I think the more importants news are here :-)

Can't wait. I thought the only Godzilla movie coming up was the one on 2019. Now I know one will come out this year, I'm looking forward to it. Thank you also fir at least starting a thread. I feel bad for movie pages that don't have anything.

Anime Godzilla, Toho Godzilla, and American Godzilla loving it up so far

It's got a fairly intricate plot, especially for the human characters. They leave Earth because Godzilla and other large monsters have taken over the world and pushed our race to the brinks. Taking spaceships on a 20 year journey to a planet designated Tau-Ceti E, they find their prior estimates of this planet being "Earth-like" are incorrect. A large group decides to return to Earth, where nearly 20 thousand years has past and the entire ecosystem of Earth has changed. Godzilla is the supreme life form now and the returned humans must cope with him and a vastly more dangerous, unpredictable world.

QUITE FRANKLY, I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT ON NETFLIX. IT SOUNDS SUPER-COOL!!!

It must be out already. I see pirate sites pushing it with english dubs. Where are they selling the source material.
