Are they going to mention he's a pederast?

The movie is a bad enough idea but of all the characters to make a spin-off about, they choose the guy who's into eight year olds? I don't think too many people are going to find him sympathetic enough to enjoy this movie.

I read that's going to be retconned a bit and he's not actually a pederast, that's just a bum rap that got attached to him and something he's had to live with. This was something they teased way back when the project was first announced and people were like WTF?

I never even heard about this project until now.

They've actually been trying to get this going for like ten years. Been a long time gestating.
