With all the controversy surrounding it, do you think it can be a success in the end?

A fictional character in a fantasy film with black skin is not controversial. Racism is.

I think it will all come down to whether or not the story is interesting despite it being a remake of an animated film.

Race swapping is practically a Hollywood trademark. Where you this concerned about the race swapping in Foundation, Edge of Tomorrow and other films/TV shows?

Yes but the fictional characters creator wanted the character light skinned.

The problem is that they are so big as company you could never fully boycott them even if you try. I say I like to spend as little as possible on anything related to them.

no. we should have seen more of this production by now. they're keeping this thing locked up. it's a turkey.
