... on Channel 4, looks interesting.

I can't believe she is 24. Very believable as 14

That's exactly what I thought after checking her DOB (I knew she was older, having seen her for years in various films, but I didn't recall quite how much older). 24 playing 14 quite convincingly. She's an excellent actress, which is crucial - though her small and round face plus the freckles certainly help make the illusion real. It messes with your perceptions quite a bit, though more often you see the reverse situation - it made me recall the first girl I had a crush on at 15, having just enrolled at a new school - she was 14, but she looked 16-17. Mind-bendingly perfect embodiment of fully developed young womanhood. I almost feel guilty that her loveliness still visits my dreams many years later.
(Perhaps not the best forum to mention this, considering the saddening end scene of this film, but after a depressing experience, it's good to try and think of happier times.)

Too late."

It was aired when she was 24, she was 23 when this was filmed, maybe even 22.

Brilliant TV movie broke my heart at the end. All I wanted was for her to be happy. The actress was amazing
