I wanted to like this movie. It had beautiful nature shots and shots of the horses, but the plot was boring, the acting did not bring it alive, the horses were not in it enough, and the movie just went on and on, boring the hell out of everyone. 2/5 ... and that is being generous.
shareIt's a movie about prison inmates, guys who committed some atrocious acts. They couldn't have fresh, clean, handsome-looking prince-charming models in there. Too unrealistic. I think they even used real inmates for some roles, to add authenticity.
I thought the movie was good. The plot centers on the main character's development, how the program changes him mentally. Since the film centers on his subtle internal changes, the plot wasn't going to have exciting explosions or fireworks or gunfights etc. The acting was good; the protagonist was likable. Overall good flick
