He couldn't even lie for her like a real man. Punk.

reply

Real man doesn't get dragged down by a crazy girl.

I'm a real man. Ain't no way I'm getting sucked into being a part of a murder to protect a woman I've known for less than a week. End of story. The minute they asked me about her, I'd tell the truth -- whatever the truth is -- whether that helped or hurt her case.

How about 2 weeks? What if you love her? I would lie for someone I love.

Wasn't it mentioned that the police used very harsh interrogation methods on both him and Amanda? And that they told him that she had turned on him, it could have been a case of false memory or coercing a confession out of him.

reply

No they didn't, Sollecito withdrew his alibi for Knox in half an hour & Knox had already named Patrick Lumumba as a person of interest to Rita Ficarra before her formal questioning even began.
Please provide evidence that Knox was coerced and explain how her statement was supported by forensic evidence and multiple witnesses two days before the autopsy report was released which supported her detailed knowledge which even the cops didn't know at the time.
Please explain why she falsely accused her innocent employer of rape and murder.

Hey, look at that! She's not crazy, she's being chased by a cheetah!

reply

People rarely falsely accuse other people as a result of coercion either. Not sure that such damning statements about Lumumba, such as "He's bad. He killed Meredith. He was infatuated with her. I am afraid of him" could be coerced out of anyone unless they were deliberately trying to put the finger on the object of their venomous accusations. Apart from accusing Lumumba in order to cover for Guede, Knox obviously held some sort of grudge against her former employer, whether it was her jealousy over Patrick wanting to fire her and employ Meredith, or the fact that Lumumba saw Knox as a lazy spoiled American with a poor work ethic and regrets of hiring her in the first place and Knox knew this and resented him for this.

Read her book--she said that's not even what happened.
