Whats wrong with the Movie

It was a hot mess. A great cast which felt a little wasted on meandering story of a batsh*t crazy family.

I don't think anything is wrong with it. It did what it was supposed to do, well.

I didn't "love" it but I enjoyed it. Oh Alexandra!!

They forgot to cook up a good mystery to go with it.

Relevance is what's wrong. The great Shirley Jackson's the story was published in 1962, when the question of what to do about a severely mentally ill member of a rich, powerful family was far more terrifying and complex.
