Is this movie suitable for a 5 year old kid?

Can I take my 5 year old to this movie? Anything that parents need to watch out for?

reply

1.)It has one kissing scene.
2.)some adult jokes which are not suitable for kids.
3.)drinking beer scene
4.)romantic scenes
if your ok with these then you can go with your child otherwise not.

I agree with themanwithnoshame2016, it will certainly destroy kid's taste in movies. Only take kids to show his/her level movie so that they can enjoy the movie. Then only watching a movie will be a treat for him/her. Watching a movie is big thing in modern life, make it an interesting topic for your kid. This movie is not bad, just some overacting, common in SRK movies. But still it is not for kids, they will not understand it and it will make a bad impression of movies for kids.

It has some adult language (words like 'slut') , sexual themes and probably worst of all, several cases of infidelity. Not suitable for a 5 year old.

Apart from the arc that a 6-year old is left alone by her parents because she is an unwanted problem for them, I think there's much wrong in the film for you to take your kid along with you.

Above all even if you take your child to the hall, please make sure you are not creating disturbance for other audience as its a very deep, emotional and serious movie. Some moments are really emotional and special, please dont break that moment for others because of your child's cry or talk or anything else. Please dont be offended, i hope you will understand. I am just sharing this as we faced some real annoying situations.

I completely agree with you. There's nothing to be offended about. Parents need to realize that they are not watching a movie in their living room. Other people have paid to watch and experience a film. A child that isn't able to sit still and watch a film shouldn't be brought to a cinema. My experience was ruined by a 3 year old constantly crying and parents having to pick him up and walk around with him. Parents please leave your kids at home or with a family member if they are too young, stop ruining other peoples movie experiences.

What part of it being rated as U/A by censor board don't you understand?

A man who sat besides me came with his daughter and son. When Alia said "I slept with Raghuvendra', he somehow missed that line and asked his daughter "what did she said?" The daughter gave him that line. His face went 

Shah Rukh is old enough to be Alia Bhatt's father.

He's 51 while Alia's just 23

The movie is 151 minutes which translates to 2 1/2 hours. If you are one of those bullheaded people at least take a blanket, juice boxes and crackers to keep your child amused when they get cranky and worn out from sitting still.

Get a friend or relative to babysit. This movie will hold no interest for a five year old child.

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else
