it looks really bad. that theme song makes me cringe.

Came here just to say this, but you beat me to it.

Me too for some reason the stupid line "Are you the one Mary or are you Jane?" really annoys me. Just sounds really stupid and these two annoying stars of the show make me want to gag with their hipster internet lingo/attitude garbage. That one commercial for it where she got the wrong names put on the jacket and said "oh crap weasel" sums it up, "aren't we so funny quirky and cute" gag.

I'm definitely not a Snoop Dogg fan, nor a fan of stoner humor. And yes the theme song is bad. But if you look up Scout Durwood, one of the stars on this series, she has some pretty hilarious comedy footage. So I can't help but hope that this series isn't as bad as it seems like it is from the first episode.

But yeah I pretty much hated the pilot. I can't believe they pulled Faking It, one of the best shows to air on television let alone MTV, for this.

I think I heard before that the network is trying to go in a different direction as far as scripted shows go but I agree I don't like it at all.

I actually liked tonight's episode, Girl on Gurl. So I'm looking forward now to the rest of the season.

I didn't realize that MTV was planning on going in a different direction. This show seems more like something they'd put on Comedy Central, which is the same company so I don't know why they would want to compete with it.

Specifically this show reminds me of the Sarah Silverman Program. That makes sense because Scout Durwood said that Sarah Silverman is her idol in this hilarious must-see song/video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stALR0cI_s4

I haven't seen it yet and likely won't until the weekend but yeah I heard that a few months ago that they were going to retool things as far as scripted shows go, they are no longer aiming towards Young Adults as they have done previously.
