Trailer Park Boys: Europe...Green screen scenes

Please fire whoever thought the green screen scenes would be a good idea. Netflix is worth how much and they couldn't afford to stay an extra 10 minutes to shoot extra interview scenes. If you didn't notice, they shot some crappy b roll and then stuck the actors in front of it on a green screen. I realize their target audience is stoners but come on...

I assumed either the original footage was unusable or they just needed to do some extra inserts and couldn't really spend loads of money to return to Europe to do a handful of pick up shots.

I interpreted it to be an introspective gag that highlights the ghetto nature of their production. Anyone else get that?
